Excellent write up.. content and analysis perfectly balanced. Special Congratulations for micro observations noted about irreversible changes in thoughts and actions at individual subconscious level under influence of social media. This amoeba will surely become a monster in nearest future. Thank you for sharing your valuable thoughts to make us think... 🙏💐
Very well written article. Totally agree with the views expressed. The influence of media in it's various forms has increased manyfold in the past few years. Our smart phones have made it so easy and the various news, views being propagated are in our face almost instantly. Media particularly social media is really spreading it's tentacles like a amoeba.
Amitji, Article is very well written and analogy is also well established. The impact of media has been such that not only general people, but even the people having above average intellect have lost the ability of own thinking and rational thought processes. The frequency of continuation of 'Latest' news flash is so high that hardly anyone really think and assess its genuinety, factual correctness etc. This Amoeba is killing the rational thought process, logical assessment skills to check facts and figures and overall an ideology. Like an Amoeba is directionlesss sameand infectious, same way today's media has lost the direction and core principles of journalism and ethics.
